Cohort Analysis: 03. Multi Criteria

Multi criteria Cohort Analysis provides an ordered list of objects for multiple demographic, psychographic, region, US State, US MSA, or other criteria. Click on Multi Criteria to use this. Because the search results are limited by the strictness of the criteria used, we suggest using less than five to see results populate. In this example, females ages 21-29 are the target profile (image 1).

Think of the Multi Criteria as a series of histograms that are being compared. This function in the Cohort Analysis is the simplest way to ascertain which objects over-index the most with the target profile but it is not exact. Rankings are based on Relevancy Index, which takes an average of these individual user profile histograms in combination (image 2). Percentile rankings for the factors are displayed to the left of the factors once the data is filtered.

If too many criteria are selected, the min percentile per factor may have to be reduced. If including US States or MSA’s (or any US region), make sure to include the US (country) region.

To remove a criterion, click and press delete.
