The Geography and Maps sections display information about where the individual talking about a specific topic is from (image 1).

In order to rank geographic regions in descending order of a metric, all objects need to first be ungrouped. To do this, right-click anywhere over the data and uncheck ‘Group by Category’ (image 2). When ranking by raw percentage, the most populous areas will most likely appear at the top of the list. Percentiles and indexes display where conversation is coming from at higher than expected rates relative to similarly categorized objects in the selected vertical. Data is displayed by region (Global and USA), countries, states, and US MSAs.

To export geographical data to an Excel file, right-click anywhere over the data and select ‘Data to Excel.

The Maps section displays data in a simplified visual format. Darker shading indicates areas of higher concentration based on selected metric. Switch between raw and percentile data by clicking once on the map. Raw penetration will highlight populous areas while percentile will highlight areas of high concentration relative to the expectation based on similarly categorized objects in the vertical (image 3).

Single-click on any geographic object and press ‘T’ key to create a timeline (image 4).
