| We use a combination of machine learning and linguistics to determine if a conversation is positive. Just because a conversation isn’t positive DOES NOT mean it is negative. Some conversations are ambiguous or neutral.
We suggest setting Positive Sentiment to percent instead of volume. This can be done in the bottom right corner.
Positive Sentiment can be seen for both all posts and authentic posts. They are also available by region and demo.
‡ It is important to keep in mind that post volumes by region are a projection. In contrast, posts that we have coded as positive are shown as the actual number of positive posts. As a result, since not all posts have a geo tag, global positive sentiment percentage will almost always be higher than any of the regions (i.e. USA positive sentiment percentage). |
